Regge-pole eikonal model and the double-charge-exchange reactions

Summary

The Regge-pole eikonal model is used to calculate the scattering amplitude for the double-charge-exchange process nπ+→Δ++π. To restrict the number of parameters needed to connect this reaction to other similar reactions, with a member of the 3/2 decuplet in this final state, the quark model and exactSU 6 have been used. It is indicated how these connections may be made, and predictions of cross-sections for nπ+→Δ++π are discussed.

Si usa il modello eiconale dei poli di Regge per calcolare l’ampiezza di scattering per i processi con doppio scambio di carica, nπ+→Δ++π. Per ridurre il numero di parametri necessari a collegare questa reazione ad altre simili, con un membro del decupletto di ρ in questo stato finale, si è usato il modello dei quark e laSU 6 esatta. Si indica come stabilire il collegamento e si discutono le previsioni sulle sezioni d’urto per nπ+→Δ++π.
