A study of the K -K final states for N - N annihilation at rest in the veneziano language

Summary

We study the N - N → K -K π processes in terms of four-point Veneziano functions « à la Lovelace ». A duality-breaking correction term is added to describe the ϕ bump. The theoretical mass spectra and angular distributions are in good qualitative agreement with the experimental data. The daughter resonances being a specific feature of any Veneziano model, their contributions to the various bumps have been evaluated and found quite important.
