Spontaneous breaking of symmetry and supersymmetry in 16/16 supergravity

Summary

It is shown that spontaneous breaking of supersymmetry and symmetry of a Yang-Mills gauge groupG is possible in 16/16 supergravity. The component form of the Lagrangian of this supergravity coupled to Lorentz and Yang-Mills-Chern-Simons forms and its corresponding BRS transformation laws are obtained.
