Leaf tissue desiccation process: a dielectric-gravimetric study

  • Published:
Lettere al Nuovo Cimento (1971-1985)

Summary

Dielectric-gravimetric studies on tissues of similar samples of fresh and dead rehydrated leaves. Evaporation rate and dielectric decrement between 10 khz and 10 Mhz are contemporarily recorded at different degrees of desiccation. A correlation between the bonding state of water in the tissue and dielectric response is discussed.
