Research on the characteristic parameters of thermophotovoltaic (TPV) converter performance

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

The characteristic parameters and the problems involved in the realization of a thermophotovoltaic (TPV) converter have been investigated. Emitters of pure polycristalline graphite appear the most convenient, since their emittance is high and they are easy to prepare. Measurements of the practical efficiency of cells under TPV conditions have been made.
