Summary
The thermal instability of a plasma in the presence of a transverse magnetic field is studied to include the effects of finiteness of the ion Larmor radius. The finite Larmor radius is found to have a stabilizing influence for the stationary convection. Also, for the case of over-stability, the conditions for its nonexistence are investigated.

Si studia l'instabilità termica di un plasma in presenza di un campo magnetico trasversale per introdurre gli effetti del raggio finito di Larmor degli ioni.
