On the 1/N expansion for a model of quantum gravity: toward a finite theory

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

In this paper we show that the usual vierbein formalism for the gravitational field, generalized to aN-component vector field, gives a quantum theory which is finite and unitary in the framework of the 1/N expansion. The relevance of such a procedure is briefly discussed.
