On the iteration of a singular integral equation

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1965-1970)

Summary

A method of iterating a singular integral equation of Omnès is given. The iteration is shown to converge provided the amplitude is sufficiently small. The conditions for convergence are related to the position of the bound-state pole, and to possible degeneracy of solutions to the equation.
