This article is a report on the Exploratory Conference on Certification of Audio-Visual Instructional Materials Supervisors, which was held in Washington, D. C., on September 28–29, 1954. Ernest Tiemann is director of the Visual Instruction Bureau at the University of Texas. He is chairman of the DAVI National Committee on Certification of Audio-Visual Supervisors.
