Kay S. Hymowitz is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a contributing editor of City Journal. She has written extensively on family issues and is the author, most recently, ofLiberation’s Children: Parents and Kids in a Postmodern Age.

Jay Stanley is professor emeritus of sociology at Towson University. He is the editor ofEssays on the Garrison State, and co-editor ofChallenges in Military Health Care, both published by Transaction.

Jonathan Eastwood is a doctoral candidate in history and sociology in the University Professors Program at Boston University

Collin May is a doctoral student at l’Ecole des hautes études en science sociales in Paris. His current work is on the nation-state as a political form.

Paul Seaton is at Fordham University in New York City. His articles and reviews have appeared inThe Political Science Reviewer, Interpretation, Perspectives on Political Science, and elsewhere. He is currently writing on the contemporary French political philosopher, Pierre Manent.

Kevin Mattson teaches American history at Ohio University in Athens and is author ofIntellectuals in Action: The Origins of the New Left and Radical Liberalism.
