On the interpretation of some experimental results on radiation scattering and atomic motion for some noble gases in the liquid state

Summary

The results of a previous paper about the radial density, the time-dependent radial density and the scattering function for monoatomic liquids are compared with experimental material. An empirical analysis of the atomic motion is also presented which seems to show that the vacancies in the quasi-crystalline structure of the liquid should have an important role in the atomic motion.
