Three-body forces and the binding energy of light nuclei

Summary

A phenomenological nuclear interaction consisting of a two-body potential containing a Gaussian with exchange and a delta-function, together with a three-body potential of a generalized Gaussian, was fitted to helium 4 and to the single-particle values of oxygen 16. The binding energies of8Be,12C and16O were calculated with this potential. The three-body term was found to contribute some five MeV to the binding in oxygen 16. An interaction consisting of a two-body Gaussian with exchange and a three-body Gaussian with exchange was found not to bind oxygen 16.

Si è adattata all’elio 4 ed ai valori della singola particella di16O un’interazione nucleare fenomenologica consistente di un potenziale di due corpi contenente una gaussiana con scambio ed una funzione delta, assieme ad un potenziale di tre corpi di una gaussiana generalizzata. Con questo potenziale si sono calcolate le energie di legame di8Be,12C e16O. Si trova che il termine di tre corpi contribuisce circa 5 MeV al legame nell’ossigeno 16. Si è trovato che un’interazione consistente di una gaussiana di due corpi con scambio e una gaussiana di tre corpi con scambio non contribuisce al legame in16O.

Феноменологическое ядерное вэаимодействие, состояшее иэ двух-частичного потенциала, содержашего гауссовский член с обменом и дельта-функцию, вместе с трех-частичным потенциалом, представляюшим обобшенный гауссовский член, соответствует4He и одно-частичным величинам для160. С помошью зтого потенциала вычислялись знергии свяэи8B,12C и160. Обнаружено, что трех-частичный член вносит вклад около 5 МзВ в знергию свяэи160. Было получено, что вэаимо-действие, состояшее иэ двух-частичного гауссовского члена с обменом и трех-частич-ного гауссовского члена с обменом не свяэьюает160.
