Summary
The antiferromagnetic FeSn2 alloy, whose Néel temperature resulted to be 120 °C, has been studied with the help of Mössbauer experiments performed both with 14.4 keV γ-rays from57Co and with 23.8 keV γ-rays from119Snm. Magnetic inductions were measured for both components and found equal to 150 kG- at the iron nuclei and about 30 kG at the tin nuclei. A discussion is given of the observed isomeric shifts and quadrupole splitting.
