Summary
A variational procedure due to Husimi is applied to the many-boson problem in an effort to find an approximate density matrix. The results are identical to those previously obtained by Wentzel (1) employing another technique. It differs primarily from his work in that it is not limited to Hamiltonians of any specific form.

Nel tentativo di trovare una opportuna matrice di densità si applica al problema di molti bosoni una procedura variazionale, dovuta a Husini. I risultati sono identici a quelli ottenuti precedentemente da Wentzel adottando un’altra tecnica. Questo lavoro differisce principalmeate da quello di Wentzel ia quanto non è limitato ad hamiltoniani di forma speoifica.
