Hypertriton binding energy with N.L.S. potentials

Summary

The Λ3H binding-energy problem is solved as an exact eigenvalue problem using nonlocal separable (N.L.S.) potentials between pairs of particles, two of which are of unequal masses. All the potentials are taken to operate between pairs in thes-state but with the effects of spins included. The parameters of the N-N potential are well known and those of Λ-N potential are adjusted to fit the experimental low-energy total cross-sections for Λ-N scattering. The binding energy obtained for Λ3H is in satisfactory agreement with experiment.

Si risolve il problema dell’energia di legame del Λ3H come un problema di autovalore esatto facendo uso di potenziali non locali separabili (N.L.S.) fra coppie di particelle, due delle quali sono di masse disuguali. Si suppone che tutti i potenziali operino fra coppie nello statos ma includendo gli effetti degli spin. I parametri del potenziale N-N sono ben noti e quelli del potenziale Λ-N sono aggiustati in modo da approssimare la sezione d’urto sperimentale totale di bassa energia per lo scattering Λ-N. L’energia di legame ottenuta per il Λ3H è in soddisfacente accordo con gli esperimenti.
