Petrov classification of stationary axisymmetric empty space-times

Summary

The Petrov classification of stationary axisymmetric empty space-times is discussed. An error in the work of Lewis is corrected, thus revealing a family of stationary axisymmetric empty space-times not included in the usual canonical form for such space-times.

Si discute la classificazione di Petrov degli spazio-tempi vuoti stazionariamente simmetrici rispetto agli assi. Si corregge un errore nel lavoro di Lewis, rivelando così una famiglia di spazio-tempi vuoti stazionariamente simmetrici rispetto agli assi non compresi nella comune forma canonica per tali spazio-tempi.

Обсуждается классификация стационарных аксиально-симме тричных пустых пространства и времени. Исправляется ощибка в работе Левиса, тем самым покаэывается, что семейство стационарных аксиально-симме тричных пространств и времен не включается в обычную каноническую форму для таких пространств и времен.
