David Meggyesy, western director of the National Football League Players Association, played professional football for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1963 to 1969. He is author of Out of Their Leagueand numerous articles on college and professional sport. He has taught courses at Stanford University and Columbia College and lectured throughout the United States and Canada.
