One new property of the distribution of flare stars in the Pleiades cluster

Abstract

An investigation of the two-dimensional distribution of flare stars in the Pleiades led to the discovery of a dip in their surface density at a distance of 3.2 pc from the center of the cluster. The same feature is found in the three-dimensional distribution of these stars.
