Abstract

Consideration is given to a mathematical model for computer modeling of thermal processes of cooling of alloys in gating systems that uses a cellular-automation representation. The results of optimization of the runner dimensions for different castings obtained based on a software package that realizes three-dimensional computer modeling of thermal processes are given.
