Stephen E. Feraca is an anthropologist who spent his career with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He served as education and community development specialist among the Pine Ridge Sioux and the Florida Seminole; but most of his service was in the Bureau’s Washington office in the Tribal Organizational Branch, His latest book is entitled, "Why Don’t They Give Them Guns?" The Great American Indian Myth.
