He was previously on the faculty of Western Michigan University, and his most recent book is The Science of Conflict.

Daniel Druckman is a principal study director at the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences. Previously, he was a senior scientist and program manager at Booz, Allen, and Hamilton and at Mathtech. He has published widely on such topics as negotiation, political decision making, nonverbal communication, regional politics and political stability, as well as modeling methodologies.
