Louis Bruno Sohn is Emily and Ernest Woodruff Professor of International Law at the University of Georgia School of Law and Bemis Professor of International Law, Emeritus, at Harvard Law School. He participated in the conference that established the United Nations; served as counselor on international law in the Department of State; and has written books on the United Nations, international protection of human rights, and the law of the sea.
