Bernice Rothman Hasin is the author of Consumers, Commissions, and Congress: Law, Theory, and the Federal Trade Commission 1968–1985.Her research interests include legal history, economic regulation, and compartive legal systems. Her main work in progress is The Politics of Precedent: Class Action, Attorneys’ Fees, and Standing to Sue.

Her books include Equity and Gender: The Comparable Worth Debate, Property Rights and Eminent Domain, Moral Revolution and Economic Science, Studies of the Third Wave,and a variety of edited volumes.

Hyman is co-author of two texts, Community Systems and Human Services: An Ecological Approach to Policy, Planning, and Management;and Delinquency and the Juvenile Justice System.
