Joan Cassell is co-principal investigator of a project on Ethical Problems of Fieldwork, sponsored by the EVIST program of the National Science Foundation. She has published articles and co-edited two volumes on ethical issues in social research and testified before the President’s Commission for the Study of Ethical Problems in Medicine and Biomedical and Behavioral Research.
