Bennett M. Berger is currently a Fellow of the National Endowment for the Humanities, on leave from the University of California, San Diego, where he was chairman of the Department of Sociology. His latest book, Ideological Work in Counter-Culture Communes,is forthcoming from the University of California Press.

He is the author of numerous books on ethics, the most recent of which are Exploring Fact and Valueand Analyzing Concepts in Social Science.

He is the author of several books dealing with mass communications and the media.

He is the author of numerous works, including Essays on Housing Policyand Problems of an Urban Society.

He is the author of numerous books, including Inner Contradictions of Rigorous Researchand, with Donald Schön, Organizational Learning.
