William E. Simon was secretary of the treasury under Presidents Nixon and Ford. He has also served as deputy secretary of the treasury and as chairman of the Economic Policy Board, the East-West Foreign Trade Board, the National Advisory Council on International Monetary and Financial Policies, and the Council on International Economic Policy. He is a past director and a member of the Executive Board of the Securities Industry Association.
