Abstract
An analysis is made of features of the modes of vibration of two-layer plates consisting of a layer of duralumin and a layer of a high-damping viscoelastic material. It is shown that coating the plate with a damping material makes it possible to significantly reduce dynamic stresses in the structure as a whole.
