Abstract
A method and algorithm are proposed for calculation of the dynamics of spatially separated flexible elastic structures in water with allowance for slackening in some structure elements. The possibilities of the proposed method are illustrated by the example of separated structure dynamics with variation of the towing velocity and allowance for the effect of sea waves. The kinematic and force characteristics of the structure for different wave parameters are determined and structure elements with apparent slackening.
