The plane problem on vertical impact of a rotating circular cylindrical shell against the surface of a liquid

Abstract

The plane nonsymmetric problem on impact against and immersion into a compressible fluid of a thin electic cylindrical shell is considered. The shell rotates about its axis with a given angular velocity. The boundary-value problem is reduced to an infinite system of integral Volterra equations of the second kind.
