Abstract
The process of depositing coatings based on γ-Al2O3 on highly porous ceramic materials with the cellular structure is considered. The deposition was carried out by impregnating samples with boehmite gels produced by hydrothermal treatment of freshly deposited aluminum hydroxide. The possibility of increasing the specific surface of highly porous materials with a cellular structure from 0.1 to 4–9 m2/g is shown.
