Tamara Barnea is a Senior Researcher at the JDC-Brookdale Institute of Gerontology and Human Development, coordinator of the Institute’s Technology and Aging Team, and organizer of the 1992 conference onTechnology and Aging: Theory, Practice, Research. Her principal areas of research are gerontology and health policy. Her books include the monographAging in Israel in the 1990s which she edited with Jack Habib and, with Elliot Stern, the proceedings of the aforementioned conference.
