Mary Furlong, Ed.D., the founder and president of SeniorNet, is the Director of Teacher Education at the University of San Francisco where she coordinated the M.A. program in educational computing and established the Center for Instructional Technology. Co-author of several award-winning educational software programs, and of the book,We Teach with Technology, Dr. Furlong was recently nominated by President Clinton to the National Commission on Libraries and Information Science.
