Abstract
Using the method of invariant immersion, we perform numerical simulations of the statistical characteristics of a plane nonstationary wave reflected from a one-dimensional, randomly irregular medium due to multiple scattering. The statistical effects in the mean reflected field are considered, and the behavior of its higher moments is analyzed. The possibility of obtaining the solution of the statistical inverse wave problem is discussed.
