Abstract
The two-point statistics of a tracer in a turbulent compressible medium is presented. The equations for Lagrange and Euler probability distributions of the density field of the tracer have been obtained and analyzed. The time behavior of dispersion of the logarithm of the density field Jacobian is considered. The power law, which is similar to the Kolmogorov-Obukhov law for an actual turbulence, has been obtained theoretically.
