Abstract
Fluctuating combustion of azidoethanol is observed in unthermostated glass tubes. The dependence of the combustion velocity of azidoethanol on the external pressure is determined. A distinctive feature of this dependence is that a density jump develops during the transition from normal combustion to a fluctuating regime. The periods of the fluctuations in the combustion velocity of azidoethanol are determined for different external pressures. The observed effect is explained qualitatively.
