Dispersion of light and EDGE absorption of thin Y2O3 films

Abstract

We measured the dispersion of light in thin Y2O3 films in the visible and near UV regions of the spectrum. The spectrum of edge absorption is investigated. We found the parameters of a single-oscillator approximation and determined the dispersion energy and the ionicity of bonding.
