Abstract
A spectroscopic method is suggested for quantitative determination of some alcohols (1-butanol, 2-methylpropanol-2, 1-hexanol, and glycerol) in mineral oil I-20A used as a quenching medium. The efficiency of the method suggested is tested both in model mixtures and in samples of quenching media. The method can be used in laboratory and industry.
