Abstract
A method for calculation of the probabilistic characteristics of the dose rate on territories subjected to radioactive contamination is developed. The relation between the computed probability density of the dose rate and the distribution laws of the activity on the contaminated territory is analyzed. The form of the approximate description of the computed dose characteristics is proposed for territories with the same types of contaminations. The transformation of the distribution density to a log-normal distribution is traced. 2 figures, 4 references.
