Summary
The target thickness dependence of the shape of the convoy electron peak from protons (2.4 MeV/u) emerging from thin carbon foils ((2.2÷20)μg/cm2) is studied by a series expansion fitting method. Th results show nearly symmetric and target-thickness-independent behaviour close to the maximum of the peak. In the wings of the peak, however, a thickness-dependent asymmetry is observed.

Si è studiata la dipendenza dallo spessore del bersaglio della forma del picco del convoglio elettronico da protoni (2.4MeV/u), emergenti da sottili fogli di carbonio ((2.2÷20)μg/cm2) mediante il metodo di approssimazione con uno sviluppo in serie. I risultati mostrano un comportamento quasi simmetrico e indipendente dallo spessore del bersaglio vicino al massimo del picco. Ai lati del picco, tuttavia, si osserva un'asimmetria dipendente dallo spessore.

Исследуется форма пика конвойных электронов, индуцированных протонами (2.4 MeV/u), от толшины мишени, которые вылетаут из тонких углеродных фольг ((2.2÷20) мкг/см2). Полученные результаты показывают почти симметричное и не зависящее от толщины мишени поведение вблизи максимума пика. Однако на крыльях пика наблюдается асимметрия, зависящая от толщины.
