Zusammenfassung

An Hand eines Krankengutes von 176 Patienten (121 benigne und 55 maligne Tumore) wird ein überblick über die Klinik bie Tumoren der Kopfspeicheldrüsen gegeben. Es zeigt sich eine weitgehende Übereinstimmung mit den Ergenissen anderer Untersucher, auch im Hinblick auf den Verlauf der Speicheldrüsenkarzinome. voneinander abweichende Behandlungsmethoden verschiedener Kliniken lassen ein standardisiertes Therapiekonzept für diese Patientengruppe als wünschenswert erscheinen.

Summary

The clinical data of 176 patients with tumors of the salivary glands (121 benign, 55 malignant) were reviewed. A good correlation with the reports of other investigators was found, also in regard to the clinical course of carcinomas. Because of the different treatment modalities applied in various institutions a standardeized therapeutic concept for more precise information on carcinoma patients is advocated.
