An Hand eines Falles wird die Verwendung des M.-latissimus-dorsi-Hautmuskellappens als freies Transplantat zur Deckung eines Haut-und Weichteildefektes nach einer offenen Unterschenkelfraktur aufgezeigt und die Vorteile dieses Verfahrens mit anderen Techniken verglichen.

Summary

In a case report the use of the latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap as a free transplant for coverage of a skin and soft tissue defect after a compound tibia fracture is presented and the advantages of this procedure are compared with other techniques.
