Summary

Delayed cardiac tamponade is a life-threatening complication which occurs sometimes in the late post-operative period following cardiac surgery. The diagnosis of this complication is difficult. Hemodynamic changes in delayed cardiac tamponade which was produced experimentally in 15 minipigs are displayed and discussed.
