Zusammenfassung
Nach Präsentation zweier Fälle wird die Technik der transmediatinalen geschlossenen Ösophagektomie, und zwar durch stumpe Dissektion oder Strippung der Speiseröhre, beschrieben. Mit dem Verfahren kann das Risiko der Thorakotomie vermieden werden. Die Methode hat Bedeutung vor allem im Therapieplan des Hypopharynxkarzinoms, aber auch bei der palliativen Entfernung intrathorakaler Ösophaguskarzinome. Verfahrensspezifische Komplikationen sind selten.
Summary
After presentation of two cases, the technique of the closed transmediastinal esophagectomy by blunt dissection or stripping is described. This method is advantageous because of its reduced risk compared to operations with thoracotomy. The technique is indicated for carcinoma of the hypopharynx as well as for palliative removal of intrathoracic cancers. Complications related to the tech nique are rare.
