Zusammenfassung

Von 1966 bis 1982 wurden an unserer Abteilung 2769 Gallenoperationen wegen gutartiger Erkrankungen durchgeführt. Bei 634 Patienten (22,8%) wurde transduodenal papillotomiert. Insgesamt verstarben 52 Patienten (8,2%), an einer postoperativen Pankreatitis jedoch nur 10 Patienten (1,5%). Bei entsprechender Indikation und Technik halten wir das Risiko einer tödlichen postoperativen Pankreatitis für gering.

Summary

From 1966 to 1982 2769 operations of the gall-system for benign reasons were performed at our hospital. A papillotomy was performed in 634 cases (22,8%). 52 patients died (8,2%), but there were only 10 patients who died in consequence of Pancreatitis after operation (1,5%). We think that there is no high risk of postoperative pancreatitis performing the transduodenal papillotomy.
