Abstract
2,3-Dichloro-4,4-ethylenedioxycyclopent-2-enone, its 5-chloroderivative, and 5-allyl-2,3,5-trichloro-4,4-dimethoxycyclopent-2-enone react with (Me2N)3P to give the corresponding products of substitution of the NMe2 group for the vinylic Cl atom at C(3).
