Profound anemia caused by bleeding hemorrhoids of the arterial type suggesting arteriovenous fistulas

  • Published:
Diseases of the Colon & Rectum

Arterial hemorrhoids probably represent arteriovenous fistulas and are frequently found in association with profound anemia.
