Summary

Background: Even with unusual amputations a replantation is worthwile.

Methods: We will report of 3 penile replantations one scalpreplantation in combination with a free dorsalis-pedis-flap and a replantation of the 1–4th toe of the left foot in a 3 year old child.

Results: In all cases there was a satisfactory result.

Conclusions: Because of our good experience a replantation should be kept in mind even in unusual cases.
