Conclusions

At present the nomenclature and amount of spare parts among instruments’ accessories is determined without taking into consideration the statistical information on the maintenance and technical servicing of instruments.

The provision of instruments with a technically and economically substantiated range and amount of spare parts facilitates their technical servicing in the course of their maintenance.

The technique for determining the range and amount of spare parts must be based on a preliminary evaluation of several factors effective in the course of the instruments’ technical servicing.

4.
The evaluation of the range and amount of spare parts among an instrument’s accessories should be made with the duration of the maintenance period taken into consideration.
