Summary
The cranial computer-tomography, after 2 years use, has turned out to be, in the field of traumatology, a qood method for the establishment of the results of recent injuries to the skull as well as of post-traumatic, complete, scarred, focal or diffuse changes. The lack of every risk and the ease with which tests can be repeated permits continuous observation of progress. Brain oedema can be clearly represented in vivo and in their degree and development. Under consideration of the principle of the relativity and the value of recognition, the computer-tomography quickly gained importance in the examination of organic brain damage.
Typical examples of diagnoses from a series of 250 CT-tests are presented.
