Abstract
Carcinoma of the colon during pregnancy is rare. A case of adenocarcinoma of the transverse colon in a 27-year-old pregnant woman is reported. With the addition of this patient, there are now 19 reported cases of cancer of the colon during pregnancy. The problem of diagnosis as well as management of colonic carcinoma during pregnancy is discussed.
